Social media has been buzzing over a symbol of a man and a woman with the phrase straight pride. This has amassed heaps of criticisms from pro gay groups which in turn elicited violent reactions from everyone else. Pro gays claim that this image ridicules their fight for equal rights, while others claim that they should also have the right to express their pride in being straight. These back and fourth exchanges spawned a new version of that symbol which is receiving even more reactions from both groups.
